A royal palace within Dawnwatch.
Why It Matters
Highcourt is where evidence against Valec becomes a direct contest for control of Aurelis. The masquerade lets the party investigate his network, the assassination attempt forces Maelin to trust them more directly, and the later council confrontation triggers Valec's prepared coup. Seraphine's hidden passages ultimately allow the party to move the Queen while compromised Guard units seize parts of the palace.
