Eclipse Hounds are lean, mastiff-shaped predators altered by the Court's lightless magic. Their hides drink in ordinary torchlight, their eyes reflect a dull red sheen, and wounds made by their bites leave the same cold-edged discoloration Corin treated among refugees near Brighthollow. The party encountered trained hounds accompanying Eclipse outriders and later among the siege forces entering Dawnwatch.
